DeKALB COUNTY
        Cameron Community Lakes is made up of three reservoirs. Reservoir #1 is .5 mile west of the city of Cameron on Highway 36. This 25-acre body of water is managed for fishing and is surrounded by about 23 acres of forestland and old pastureland. To reach Reservoir #2, turn west off Highway 69 on the first road that lies north of Highway 36 and follow signs. This is a 35-acre fishing lake surrounded by about 63 acres of forest. Reservoir #3 is 1 mile west of Cameron on Highway 36, 1.5 miles north on Highway C, then .75 mile east on an unnamed gravel road. This is a 96-acre area managed for fishing and is surrounded by about 100 acres of forestland. Reservoirs #1 and 2 have boat ramps.
        To reach Grindstone Reservoir (also known as Cameron City Reservoir #4), turn north on the first gravel road that lies west of the junction of highways C and 36. The area totals 800 acres and the reservoir (180 acres) is managed for fishing.
        King Lake Conservation Area is 5 miles east of Highway 169 on County Road 459. King Lake is 200 acres of fishable water and is surrounded by about 1,000 acres of forestland and old pastures. There is a boat ramp.
        Pony Express Lake Conservation Area is 9 miles west of Cameron on Highway 36, north on Highway 33, then 1 mile on Route RA (marked with a cantilever sign). Pony Express Lake, Buffalo Bill Lake and Outpost Lake sit on this 3,150-acre area, providing anglers with 290 acres of fishable water. There is a boat rental, picnic area, boat ramps and wheelchair accessible fishing jetties.
