NODAWAY COUNTY
Bilby Ranch Lake
Conservation Area is 14 miles west of Maryville on Highway 46. This 5,030-acre
area has 15 ponds and Bilby Ranch Lake (130 acres for fishing). The lake has a boat ramp,
a jetty that is accessible to wheelchairs and a picnic area.
Black Oak Access
is off Highway U south of Maryville. This is a 13.5-acre area on the 102 River with no
boat ramp.
Bristle Ridge Access
is 1 mile west of Guilford where Highway M crosses the Platte River. This is a 1-acre area
with no boat ramp.
Keever Bridge Access
on the Platte River is south of Parnell off Highway 46. This is a 6-acre area with no boat
ramp.
Nodaway County Community
Lake is north of Maryville on Highway 148. This 73-acre lake has a boat ramp and
wheelchair accessible fishing jetty. The land around the lake is mainly pasture and old
fields (237 acres) and has an archery range.
Possum Walk Access
is 2 miles west of Clearmont on Highway C. This is a 5-acre area of forestland on the
Nodaway River. There is no boat ramp.
